In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) provides personal care and domestic services to persons who are aged, blind or disabled and who live in their own homes. IHSS is provided to those who otherwise might be placed in an out-of-home care facility but who can safely remain in their own home if IHSS services are received.

IHSS advocates’ mission is to provide families with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities, such as ASD, with the tools and services to obtain and maintain Protection Supervision.

We provide assistance and representation throughout the application, assessment, reassessment, and administrative hearing processes. Our vision is to see the number of eligible families receiving Protective Supervision increase significantly.
